I do not work out of a studio.  All of my work is photographed on location.  That means I come to you or we find the perfect location to meet your needs.  The location could be your home, a park, or just a funky little spot that has special meaning for you.  My goal in photography is to capture the spirit of the people I am photographing.  I feel that this is best done when they are in a place that they want to be and doing something they like to do. 

Below I discuss in a bit more detail some of my services, but in brief I am available for just about any event or reason you can think of for taking photographs:

Family, Senior Portraits, or Engagement Photo
 
Family photos are a lot more fun if show the family doing the types of things the love to do.  Studio portraits are great and definitely have their place; but for me family portraits should be alive and show the family interacting with one another.  Of course, family portraits can include the whole family; aunt Jane to the family pet.  I want my photographs to capture the spirit of your family.
 
Engagements and your senior year are very special times in your life and deserve unique and special photos for you to remember those times.  Engagement photos or senior portraits are generally done in locations that have meaning for the couple or the grad.  For those planning a wedding, the location might be where you first met, where he proposed, or that romantic park where you like to take long walks together.  For the grad, maybe it is your favorite hangout or you want to capture some of those things that made high school special. 
 
If you are not sure where you would like the photos taken or you would like multiple themes, we can discuss this through e-mail or in person.  I will find out a bit about your likes and dislikes and then suggest various locations that will capture the look that is you.

 

 
 
Protraits
 
I like to take portraits that are more
than just a nice photograph.  I want
them to say something about you. 
While the focus is on you, your
surroundings will not be a static backdrop.
The backdrop will be your home or a soft sunset.  A couples portrait will be dynamic
and not just a stiff shot of the two of you sitting next to one another.  Your portrait
will emphasize the relationship between
you.  Maybe you have a pet that is part
of the family; why not include them in
the portrait as well.

Event Photography
 
Before an event, I will work with you to gain a clear understanding of the event and what you want to capture.  Maybe it is a 50th wedding anniversary party or a corporate event.  Whatever the occasion I work with you to make sure you have the photographs you truly want.
